About Us

Mt. Victory Camp is an Eco-Lodge nestled in the Northwest Hills of beautiful St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. Our Caribbean homestead was designed to enhance the beauty of the natural surroundings, capture the cool breezes, and provide a peaceful setting for people to get closer to the nature of our beautiful island.

We are here to make the natural and cultural wonders of our island life accessible to our
guests. Comfortable living close to nature is our mantra. Low-impact, sustainable living is our goal. Here you’ll live overlooking the forest trees on a platform habitat made from those same trees, hike along breezy ridges, mountain bike ocean trails, horseback through cattle country… or just look up from your hammock at the fruit ripening over your head!

Camp owners, Carmen and Matt Corradino are instructors in primitive skills at Tom Brown Jr.’s Tracking, Nature, and Wilderness Survival School.

“We love the island of St. Croix and we hope to share its beauty with others. We’ve been teaching classes here in tropical primitive skills and wilderness survival since 2008 and in the course of doing so, decided to move to the island. With our combined experience in the outdoors we hope to offer a deeper understanding of the nature of the island to both tourists and locals alike.

We also want to be able to provide people with a place to stay that supports smart choices for the environmental and cultural health of the island. We are constantly striving towards true sustainability in the way we live and interact with people and the world around us.”
