Master gardener, herbalist and naturalist Ras Lumumba offers various hikes of differing difficulties, catering to the interests of your group. To arrange a guided hike call (340)772-4079.


St. Croix Environmental Association
Our local environmental group organizes guided nature hikes.

SEA’s hikes are open to all; members of SEA receive a discount off the small fee. Guided by various naturalists, biologists and botanists, the hikes cover different parts of the island but are usually not too physically challenging. For more information, fees and a schedule, call SEA’s office at (340)773-1989.


St. Croix Heritage Trail
One of only 50 Heritage Trails in the U.S.,
this island-wide route covers all major historic sites.

Maps are available on St. Croix for those who wish to follow this well-marked route all around the island. Highlights natural, cultural and historic points of interest. Designated one of fifty Millennium Legacy Trails by the White House Millennium Council.
